NIPC Education and Training Update

NIPC provides a range of educational and training programmes in the promotion of active lifestyles and the prevention and control of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity. This portfolio includes programmes designed specifically to meet workforce development needs and support continuous professional development right through to a range of formal postgraduate qualifications.

This session was created to give everyone a quick update in relation to Training and Education within the NIPC. Jennifer Jones, director of training and education discusses the difficulties which Covid-19 has brought for Training and Education and how the NIPC has moved many programmes online.

This video discusses the array of new workshops, short courses, postgraduate programmes on offer for 2021. Including Demisfying the ECG workshops, Delivering Evidence based Cardiac Rehabilitation in Practice and the Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiac Rehabilitation  which is delivered in partnership with NUI Galway.
