The NIPC has a strategic alliance with the National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway and collaborates in a number of postgraduate programmes in its goal to produce a new generation of scholars and leaders in cardiovascular health and disease prevention.
The Masters in Preventive Cardiology is the only one of its kind in Ireland and is delivered in a unique community partnership with Croí, the Heart & Stroke Charity. This blended-learning programme includes a taught element within Croí Heart and Stroke Centre, allowing students to gain knowledge of, and experience in, the theory and clinical application of evidence-based preventive cardiology practice.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiac Rehabilitation is delivered in partnership with the National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway. This PGCert is delivered virtually, using remote learning to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to make meaningful contributions to cardiac rehabilitation practice.
