We are delighted to announce details of the 2021 NIPC Virtual Cardiology Series. We have teamed up with the International Council of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (ICCPR), the American Society for Preventive Cardiology and the Global Heart Hub to bring you this event. We invite you to join a panel of international experts discussing Women Heart Matters. The sessions include: Women & Heart Disease: Sex Differences in Heart Disease, Addressing Barriers on Women and Cardiac Rehabilitation & The lived Experience: A real life story.

This virtual event will take place from 19:00 – 20:30 GMT on Thursday February 11th, meaning you can access this series from anywhere in the world. Traditionally, February is celebrated as Heart Month in many countries around the world. Heart Month brings awareness of heart conditions and the range of associated health issues to the fore; promoting preventative steps and lifestyle changes. On average, more than 17 million people die from heart-related illnesses every year making Cardiovascular Disease one of the highest causes of death annually.
