As the summer draws to a close this year, I hope you have had some time to relax and refresh – preferably during a spell of the generally good weather we have been enjoying lately. Perhaps you even had a chance to ‘detox’ from the ongoing COVID stress!

If you are feeling refreshed and ready for a new school/academic year, I would encourage you to consider the educational offerings from NIPC. Also, if you are completing a thesis or research project or study in the area of cardiovascular disease prevention, I would encourage you to submit your abstracts for our annual National Prevention Conference taking place on 19 & 20 November 2021.

Finally, if you are looking for a career boost, you might consider reviewing the criteria and applying for our distinguished NIPC Fellowship Scheme (closing date – 31st August).
