Managing and Treating Atrial Fibrillation

In support of World Stroke Day, NIPC are running a Masterclass on Managing and Treating Atrial Fibrillation. Atrial Fibrillation is the most common cardiac arrhythmia affecting at least 3% of Irish adults over 60. Join an expert panel of speakers as they discuss this condition, treatment and risk factor management. 

Attendance is free and registrations are welcome from Cardiologists and GPs practicing in Ireland.

Masterclass session includes:

  • Managing AFib for stroke prevention 
  • Lifestyle risk factors and how to manage them 
  • Improving patient pathways 
  • Improving quality of care: Insights from the National Office of Clinical Audit 
  • GP experience in practice: guidelines and referrals  
  • Developments in treatment
