Welcome to this month’s NIPC E-Bulletin. I hope all our alliance members have a nice summer period and get some time off work to recharge. In your free time you should consider reading our main report from the iASPIRE study, which is now published as an open access paper here.
The results make for sobering reading and we plan to use this as a platform for a National White Paper on CVD prevention in an effort to influence policy in the area- which is currently lacking in Ireland.
Also, in your free time, please consider attending our NUIG-NIPC MSc Postgrad Programme opening evening (July 6th) and our NIPC Series on Obesity Management on July 15th. Both are excellent educational opportunities for those wishing to upskill in their practice.
