Dear Alliance Members,

Welcome to the July 2022 NIPC eBulletin. I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the recent spell of warm weather. Just a reminder, the deadline to apply for our postgraduate progammes, which are run in partnership with NUI Galway, is fast approaching. These courses focus on the prevention and control of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity and enabling active lifestyles, health and well-being.

I am delighted to announce that registration for the 15th West of Ireland Integrated Diabetes Care Conference is now open HERE. This year the conference will take place 15th October in the Galmont Hotel, Galway. There are limitied places available for our Cardiac Rehabilitation in Ireland course.This is a free, 3-month online course designed to equip Cardiac Rehabilitation Practitioners in Ireland with the core knowledge, skills and competences to deliver rehabilitation services in clinical practice. Application deadline is 15th August. Our courses receive great feedback from participants, “well structured and informative”, “fantastic course presentations”, many of which are CPD accredited.
